Breast Cancer Support Group
This weekly group is for breast cancer patients/survivors at any point
along their journey from diagnosis to survivorship. Starting 10/13/09,
the group will meet every Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Patrick
Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. Please preregister
before initial attendance so that we can plan for space &

Men's Cancer Survivors' Group
An eight-week group for up to eight men who are cancer survivors,
meeting on Wednesday nights from 5-6pm, September 16th- November 4th,
meeting on the CMMC campus (room location tbd). We will discuss topics
such as survivorship, fear of recurrence, disclosure of cancer
experience, and relationships.
Cancer Wellness & Support Group

I CAN COPE

“Living With Cancer” Support Group
Meets the 2nd Wed. of the month from 6-7 p.m. in the Oncology Practice waiting room at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. For more info, call 777-4445.
Look Good, Feel Better
This program of the American Cancer Society helps patients cope with changes in appearance (e.g., loss of eyelashes and brows, changes in skin, loss of hair, etc.) related to cancer and treatment. Participants are provided a free makeup kit (with very nice, high-end cosmetics) and taught how to use the cosmetics to look and feel their best. Sessions will be offered the THIRD Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m- noon. PIP’s Club (“Pretty in Pink”) Breast Cancer Survivor Club
Group meets the 3rd Monday of each month for socialization and support. Facilitated by two breast cancer survivors, and meets in a home setting. For more information, call Claudette at 755-0077 or Carlene at 754-0747.
Prostate Support Group
Education & Support for men and families living with prostate cancer. Meetings are held the last Wednesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in Conference Room C. Sessions will involve both guest presenters and open forums for discussion.
When Someone You Love Has Cancer
Support for Family & Caregivers: Offers support & education for adults whose loved one has cancer, facilitated by a licensed clinical oncology social worker. Meets every Monday from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing: 10 High St., Suite 301. You do not need to preregister to attend. Women’s Cancer Support Group
