Become a Volunteer at The Dempsey Center

Volunteers enrich and strengthen the services offered at The Dempsey Center. In fact, we consider volunteers to be our greatest resource.

There are many volunteer opportunities at The Center that may match your strengths and interests, including:

Leading a weekly social group, such as a knitting group, book group, game night, etc.
Assisting with office work, such as word processing, photocopying, filing, etc.
Helping to manage The Center’s Resource Library collection.
Assisting with projects
Teaching a class or workshop, such as jewelry-making or scrapbooking, etc.
Responding to requests for written cancer information: putting together informational materials packets for patients and caregivers.
