SUMMARY:Spring Wellness Retreat [Rock Row]
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring Retreat offering will feature both self-compassion and walking meditation as we prioritize kindness toward the self – through both an internal and external focus. First\, we’ll welcome guest speaker\, Heather Shaughnessy-Cato\, who will bring her knowledge and expertise to a discussion on self-compassion – the practice of responding to yourself with understanding and kindness—especially during difficult moments. This session will include reflection and guided practices\, including meditation. Please bring your own journal if you’d like. The second part of our morning will offer an opportunity for either outdoor walking meditation\, weather permitting\, or indoors\, utilizing the guidance of a labyrinth to allow for moments of mindfulness.
