Anyone living with prostate cancer in Maine is invited to this special event!
Mona Ervin, Director of the Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer will provide an overview of the many resources available in Maine to people living with prostate cancer and their families.
The Maine Coalition to Fight Prostate Cancer is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to assisting people managing a prostate cancer diagnosis and their loved ones.

Mona was the first female board member, eventually becoming chairperson and she served as secretary of the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions. She and her husband resigned from the MCFPC when his health, unrelated to prostate cancer, began to deteriorate.

Under Mona’s leadership, the organization has established new support groups, elected new members to the board, and developed a survey to learn how best to support people with prostate cancer and their loved ones.
In addition to her work with MCFPC, Mona has 5 adult children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
