Qi Gong ( pronounced chee-gung) is a form of exercise that combines gentle body movements, muscle relaxation, meditation, and breathing to improve physical, mental, and emotional health.
Studies show that Qi Gong practice can have many positive effects, particularly among patients with cancer. Benefits include improved lung function, mood, sleep, and quality of life, as well as reduced stress, pain, anxiety, and fatigue. It is also beneficial for overall health maintenance.
This class will introduce you to the benefits of Qi Gong integrating the methods of body movements that can provide these benefits. Appropriate for all levels.
