Camp of Rock plays Gritty’s!

October 1 2017
4:30 - 6:00 PM

Camp of Rock XII (PHATT WAZZP) is made up of 23 kids, ages 9-17. There are 3 drummers, a bass player, 7 guitarists, 2 keyboard players, 3 violinists, 2 flute players, a sax player, a trombone player, and 3 vocalists. They met during the first two weeks of August and learned 8 songs, recorded them, and have performed at the Franco Center, on the WBLM Morning Show, and at the Great Falls Balloon Festival. They are set to play at The Dempsey Challenge on Saturday, October 7 at 11:00am, but not before they play one last fundraiser for Team PT Down with Disease. So come out to Gritty’s to support them, and listen to a set that includes “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath, “I Love Rock and Roll” by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin, “Right Now” by Van Halen, and “Shoot to Thrill” by AC/DC, among others. There’ll be raffles, prizes, and a 50/50. You won’t believe these are kids playing, who are learning to share their skills to benefit others. Come support them!
