POSITION: Data Review Volunteer
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: BI Reporting Analyst
LOCATION: Remote

Schedule and Hours: Flexible; as needed. 2-4 hours a month.

Position Summary 

The Data Review Volunteer helps with the functions of the BI reporting analyst team within the Client Care Team department of the Dempsey Center. The volunteer in this position will assist the BI Reporting Analyst by reviewing client data and determining the relationship between clients.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Reviewing Client Registration Forms and Intake notes to find relationships between clients (care partners, spouse, parent, etc.).
  • Creating relationship connections in Mindbody profiles when needed.
  • Other data projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented, thorough, and organized
  • Proficient or better with Mindbody software (with training)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates Dempsey Center core values and displays a passion for the Center’s mission to make life better for people impacted by cancer

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand or walk for duration of shift (up to 4 hours)

General Requirements:

  • Must attend Dempsey Experience Training.
  • Maintains professional behavior, dress, and appearance at all times while volunteering.
  • Must use discretion and protect the confidentiality of all Dempsey Center clients.; HIPAA-specific training will be provided.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, Board members, donors, prospects, volunteers, consultants, advisors, and members of the community.

Required for all Volunteers: 

  • Background check
  • Annual flu immunization or declination notice
