Finding Support Through Bereavement

When someone experiences the loss of a loved one, a period of grief occurs. While these feelings are part of a normal experience, the journey is unique for everyone. And finding support and connection as you move through bereavement can make a positive difference in your ability to cope. Here are the Dempsey Center, we aim to produce an atmosphere of healing and understanding for all those experiencing a loss through one-on-one sessions, group support, and workshops.

Counseling

Short-term grief counseling sessions are available with licensed clinical social workers in a one-on-one setting.

Grief After Cancer Loss

An eight-week educational support series for adults who have lost a loved one to cancer.

Evening of Remembrance

An annual event to celebrate the lives of those lost to cancer.
