About the Challenge

The Dempsey Challenge champions a spirit of celebration and culture of paying it forward.

The 2016 Dempsey Challenge will take place on October 1 – 2 in Lewiston-Auburn, Maine.

I ran into a friend who did the 25-mile ride on a team from Camden. It was everyone’s first year, and Chris led the team because her husband had recently passed away. She’s planning on doing it again next year because she was blown away by the event, and quality of every aspect — including how well the staff takes care of participants. And I agree with her — because that level dedication also reflects of how they care for people at the Center.
